What is our Future Ready Programme about?
Young and Mindful CIC will be piloting a 24-week personal development programme aimed at young people (age 16-25) living in Denbighshire, Flintshire, and Wrexham, whether you are in college, preparing for university, beginning an apprenticeship, or you are not in education, employment, or training (NEETs).
The programme will run weekly, from May 2026. Each session will be 2.5 hours long. The programme consists of 14 themed workshops on topics such as financial awareness, goal setting, self-care, and community and planet awareness (to name a few). A full schedule of sessions and their topics will soon be available.
We will also be hosting 6 guest speaker sessions, providing young people with expert information and Q&A with professional entrepreneurs and public service employers; plus 4 accountability sessions, helping young people review their progress, celebrate achievements, and stay committed to their goals.
The programme will be delivered across 5 locations (to be announced soon). Each session has a limited number of spaces, so be sure to register your interest early on!
Participants will benefit from a structured approach to personal development and will be able to directly engage with professionals and share experiences. This programme aims to help young people manage and develop independence, develop a clearer sense of direction, overcome personal barriers and self-doubt, and make better use of transferable skills.
Oh! and by the way… there is no cost for your place on this course! Just sign up to attend the sessions you are interested in, and we’ll book your place.
This is all about enabling younger people to build a stronger sense of identity and resilience, discover purpose, and work creatively, confidently and ambitiously towards achieving personal goals.
